Lost property / Found property
- If you lose a property, report it to a police station, police box and the facility manager.
- If you lose a credit card or a mobile phone, you should contact the credit card company or the mobilephone company to stop its function so anyone won’t misuse your property, then report it to police.
- If you find a property, please return it to the person who has lost it or submit it to a police station or police box.
If it is not identified who has lost the property and the three month elapsed
from the day following the day of submission, the person who has found
the property may acquire the ownership of the property except mobile phone,
card or any other item which contains personal information.
The period to receive the property is two months since when you acquire
the ownership. You must bring the receipt of the found property and your
driver’s license or any ID which contains your name and address to receive
the property.
If you fail to submit the property within 7 days from the day following
the day on which you have found the property, you will not acquire the
ownership or the right of reward even if the owner of lost property is
not identified. - If you find a property in the building of a train station, department store, etc., submit it to the staff of the building. If you fail to submit the property within 24 hours, you will not acquire the right of reward or the ownership even if the owner of lost property is not identified.
