Making Anonymous Notifications to the Police

 Purpose
 To help the police in their investigations, it is possible for you to give information anonymously over the phone or by Internet.
 You do not have to identify yourself.
 The contact for the notification is a third party commissioned by the police.
 The information obtained will be given only to the relevant law enforcement organization.
 Your personal information will be kept confidential.

 Types of useful information
 Information about Japanese organized crime groups "boryokudan", such as the following:
 Activities of boryokudan members within and outside Japan, front companies of boryokudan or illegal activities by boryokudan
 Information about non-Japanese crime groups, such as the following:
 Activities of non-Japanese organized groups in Japan, identity of the members, or their relationship with boryokudan
 Information about social systems or infrastructures that could be used for committing crimes, such as the following:
 Cell phones registered in a name other than that of the owner, bank accounts opened in a name other than that of the applicant or transactions by credit cards done in a name other than that of the card holder; forgeries or trade involving drivers licenses or IDs, such as residence cards; unlicensed hospitals, drug stores or banks; temporary employment agencies or apartments that accept illegally staying non-Japanese
 Information about crimes that victimize minors
 Information about child abuse or child pornography
 Information about human trafficking

 Rewards
 Rewards for useful information will be up to 100,000 yen.
